Technical Description
KD International provides Advanced CPI Separators (Above Ground), designed to meet the growing demand for compact oily water separation in offshore and onshore oil & gas operations. With limited space on rigs and platforms, our Advanced CPI Separator (Above Ground) is engineered for maximum efficiency while minimizing weight and footprint.
In the Advanced CPI Separator (Above Ground), water flows in a laminar stream between the coalescing plates, moving horizontally. Oil droplets float upwards along the tops of the plates to the surface, while heavier particles settle down and slide to a sludge chamber for collection. This efficient separation process ensures optimal oil removal and sludge management.
The separator can be fed by gravity or a pump and is available in customized configurations. It can be prefabricated from carbon or stainless steel and designed to handle a wide range of flow rates. Additional options include skimmers or an integrated oil tank for enhanced performance.
