Technical Description
KD International specializes in the design and fabrication of Self cleaning Filtration Skids, ensuring continuous and efficient filtration for petrochemical and oil & gas applications. Each Self cleaning Filtration Skids mounted, fully assembled, and designed for immediate deployment, providing low-maintenance operation with automated cleaning mechanisms.
The KD Series FS500 Self cleaning Filtration Skids features a high-performance automatic strainer, constructed from V-shaped wire profiles welded on support pins. The micron rating is determined by the spacing between the wires, ensuring precise filtration. Continuous self-cleaning is achieved through external scraping (with a rotating strainer and fixed scrapers) or internal brushing (with a fixed strainer and rotating helical brush). Impurities are collected at the bottom and removed via manual or automatic drainage valves.
The Self cleaning Filtration Skids is ideal for low to medium viscosity fluids, delivering high reliability and minimal operator intervention.
